Day 1: Delhi
Arrival in Delhi in the evening and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi / Shekhawati (260 km – 5h30)
Morning visit of Delhi, the capital of India. Delhi is different from other major cities in the country. A city of commerce and government, it is divided between New Delhi, relatively affluent, and Old Delhi, noisy and bustling, where you ride a rickshaw through lively crowds to visit major Mughal monuments. A city full of contrasts, reflecting modern India.
Visit Old Delhi and Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India.
Discover New Delhi: India Gate, triumphal arch, wide boulevards, Connaught Place, and Qutub Minar.
Lunch
Drive to the picturesque Shekhawati region, known for its havelis (mansions) decorated with frescoes by wealthy merchants of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Dinner
Day 3: Shekhawati / Bikaner (210 km – 4h)
Visit the havelis of Mandawa, then drive to Bikaner. Located in northern Rajasthan in the Thar Desert, Bikaner is a fortified city protected by a massive fortress.
Lunch
Visit Junagarh Fort, which houses a collection of weapons. Built in the 16th century by Raja Rai Singh under Emperor Akbar, the fort expanded over four centuries, creating a complex structure of palaces, temples, corridors, staircases, terraces, and courtyards.
Tuk-tuk ride through a lively bazaar in the old city and visit a Jain temple.
Dinner
Day 4: Bikaner / Jaisalmer (330 km – 5h)
Drive to Jaisalmer, located in the Thar Desert. Known for its golden fortress surrounded by 5 km of walls, it rises from a semi-arid landscape.
Stop en route to visit desert homes and meet locals.
Lunch
At sunset, visit royal cenotaphs (chhatris). These memorials date back to the 12th century and reflect Mughal influence.

Day 5: Jaisalmer / Thar Desert (40 km – 1h)
Visit Gadisar Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, havelis, and a Jain temple.
Explore the new town in the afternoon.

Camel ride in the Thar Desert dunes at sunset.
Overnight in desert camp.

Day 6: Jaisalmer / Jodhpur (270 km – 5h)
Drive to Jodhpur, Rajasthan’s second-largest city, known for its blue houses and imposing fortress.
Lunch
Visit Mehrangarh Fort, built in 1459 by Rao Jodha, rising 135 meters above the city. Explore its courtyards and historical collections.
Visit Jaswant Thada, a cenotaph built for Maharaja Jaswant Singh.
Evening walk through the old city bazaar.
Dinner
Day 7: Jodhpur / Ranakpur (155 km – 3h) / Udaipur (90 km – 2h30)
Drive to Udaipur with a stop at Ranakpur to visit Jain temples, including the Adinath Temple, famous for its intricate architecture and 1,444 pillars.
Stop at Sadri to explore the local market.
Lunch
Continue to Udaipur with stops, including a demonstration of traditional irrigation (if available).

Day 8: Udaipur
Udaipur is one of India’s most beautiful cities, known for its palaces, lakes, and artisan culture.
Visit the City Palace, Gangaur Ghat, and Jagdish Temple.
Boat ride on Lake Pichola (subject to water level).

Visit Sahelion Ki Bari gardens.

Day 9: Udaipur / Chittorgarh / Bundi (250 km – 5h)
Visit Chittorgarh Fort, one of India’s largest fortresses, dating back to the 7th century.

Continue to Bundi, known for its fort, blue houses, and historic water reservoirs.

Day 10: Bundi / Pushkar (200 km – 3h30)
Visit Bundi Fort, a 14th-century palace with Indian miniature paintings.
Drive to Pushkar, a sacred city known for its animal fair.

Visit the sacred lake and Brahma Temple.

Day 11: Pushkar / Jaipur (150 km – 2h)
Arrival in Jaipur for lunch.
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was founded in the 18th century. Known as the Pink City, it features grand palaces, an observatory, and vibrant crafts.
Visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory.
Rickshaw ride through the old city.
Optional evening Bollywood movie at Raj Mandir cinema.

Day 12: Jaipur
Morning visit to Amber Fort, including an elephant ride up and jeep descent.
Stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in 1799 for royal women to observe the streets unseen.
Photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace).
Lunch
Free time in local markets.
Visit Birla Temple in the evening.

Day 13: Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri (200 km – 5h) / Agra (40 km – 1h)
Drive to Agra.
Visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by Emperor Akbar in 1572 and abandoned due to water shortage.
Lunch
Arrive in Agra, home to the famous Taj Mahal.

Day 14: Agra / Delhi / Return Flight (200 km – 4h)
Early morning carriage ride to the Taj Mahal entrance.
Visit the Taj Mahal, built between 1631 and 1653 by Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal.
Lunch
Visit Agra Fort, a 16th-century Mughal palace complex.
Drive to Delhi. Evening rest before airport transfer for return flight.
